Old and refurbished pub. Existing owners since March 2025. The interior has two linking rooms, one used as a restaurant, the other used as a bar. Three cask beers are on the bar. Sport is shown in the bar area and live music Friday to Sunday. It has a large car park to the side of the pub, and good bus services. Their note to fame is that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stayed there in 1903, when he came to investigate the Gt Wyrley Murders.
